Pricing Programs

At Emblem, patients come first. For us this means offering the best cannabis products, making every purchase refreshingly simple, giving our patients everything needed to make empowered choices and offering the best customer service available in Canada.

Outlined below are the pricing programs currently available to our patients.

Compassion Pricing | Financial Hardship

In order to reduce the financial burden of paying for medication, eligible patients receive 20% off their purchase of Emblem cannabis products. This program cannot be stacked or combined with additional discounts. To be eligible the patient must earn less than $30,000 per year and meet our required criteria:

A) Recipient of federal or provincial income assistance program, OR

B) Notice of Assessment from Canada Revenue Agency proving a total annual income of less than $30,000.

COVID-19 Compassion Pricing | COVID-19 Related Interim Financial Hardship

We believe in lending a helping hand when our fellow Canadians are in their time of need and our compassion pricing program is designed to help us do just that. Effective Friday May 22nd 2020, we are extending our Compassion Pricing Program beyond those with long-term financial hardship to include those experiencing interim financial hardship due to a COVID-19 related loss of income. In direct response to the current state of emergency, we are offering a 20% discount on all Emblem cannabis product to our patients who are able to demonstrate verifiable financial hardship through documentation including;

  • Current EI Claims
  • Current CERB Claims
  • Other proof of COVID-19 related loss of income

Participants must submit verifiable documentation to prove eligibility which will be determined at the sole discretion of the Client Care Team. Patient status in the program will be reviewed and re-verified on each new Medical Authorization registration. Patients are asked to advise the Client Care Team of any changes in their status, so funding remains available for those in need. This program cannot be combined with additional discounts, is not applicable to past purchases and may be discontinued at any time.

COVID-19 Compassion Pricing | First Responders

As an expression of gratitude to First Responders for their service to fellow Canadians during the COVID-19 crisis, we are extending Compassion Pricing eligibility to patients in permanent First Responder roles including;

  • Police Officers
  • Firefighters
  • Paramedics
  • Select Healthcare Providers & Support Staff

Eligible recipients will receive 20% off their purchase of Emblem cannabis products. Participants must submit verifiable documentation to prove eligibility. This program cannot be stacked or combined with additional discounts.

Support for Seniors

Some journeys to health and wellness take a little longer – so whether it’s addressing the aches and pains sometimes associated with maintaining an active lifestyle, or managing a more serious medical condition, patients 65 years of age or older enjoy an automatically applied 10% discount on their medical cannabis purchases. Conveniently, Proof of Age is cited on the patient’s Medical Document, so no further verification is required.

Veterans Assistance Program

In recognition of their service and dedication, Emblem provides “top-up coverage” across all Emblem medical cannabis products, complementing what is available through the Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) Reimbursement Policy for Cannabis for Medical Purposes program. Veterans are eligible for reimbursement of up to $8.50/g for 3g per day (90 grams per month) on the purchase of medical cannabis. In some instances, VAC may authorize higher daily gram limits. Emblem covers any remaining cost over the $8.50 VAC limit. This means that if a product costs $10/g the government will cover $8.50/g and Emblem will pay the difference, covering the remaining $1.50/g.

After registering with Emblem as a veteran, Emblem will cover the first $8.50/g (plus the remaining balance as explained above) for the first month as we await approval for coverage by VAC. If we do not receive approval after one month, the patient will revert to normal pricing until approval is received and processed by our Client Care Team.
